Motivation to become bodyworker: After being in sales and owning a small retail shop for more than 15 years I wanted a profession more fulfilling.  Something I could give back to society and left more rewarding as I could help people feel better.  I was taking premed classes for Occupational Therapy when life took a sudden turn and I decided instead to pursue Massage Therapy.  A decision I’ve never regretting and still love facilitating healing with hands on therapy.

Personal Bodywork/energy statement:

I’ve worked closely with chiropractors, acupuncturists, medical doctors and physical therapists.  My work is eclectic and intuitive having been trained in diverse techniques, giving me the flexibility to address acute or chronic pain from injuries and repetitive movements (ie. computer use) or decreased range of motion resulting from neurological events such as strokes.  These techniques allow effective relief from shoulder, neck, back and hip pain.  From whiplash to plantar fasciitis, from sciatica to TMJ syndrome.  Therapeutic massage can also help facilitate recovery after hip or knee replacements. Also trained in relieving respiratory distress whether from asthma, bronchitis, COPD or lung cancer.

I look forward to doing my very best in helping you with your massage needs.
