Specializes in: Integrated Massage Therapy including deep tissue and trigger point work, and Myofascial Release, Reflexology, and Thai Foot Massage.

 

Education: 1000 hour certification in massage therapy from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ in 1994. Reflexology training in 2001. AA in electronics from IBM. 1000 hour certification in massage therapy from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ in 1994. Reflexology training in 2001. AA in electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology.

 

Motivation to Become a Bodyworker: I had been looking for a job that would involve working with my mind, my hands and with people. It took the death of a close friend to prompt me to leave a job I hated (I was a programmer at IBM) and journey back to the desert to go to school for massage therapy. I’ve had a wonderful time all these years, and I’m hoping for at least another twenty more in this profession.
